i dont think it is that fair for me to write a review, but i want to let people know about the printing mistake in my book so that they will have a look at theirs and hopefully not waste their time on a book that misses story!(like i did!). i read to page 312 and then the book went back to page 41 of the story!! it then carried on to page 88, then went to page 361!! i had missed sooo much of the story i couldn't follow the rest. the worst was that the story had been quite slow and i had only just started to really get into it, it was the "action" part of the book. i doubt i will buy another copy incase this happens again (i buy books off the net) and the fact that what i read was not really that engaging.in all fairness its the third book i wanted to read as i like that character best, but i wonder if i have missed too much to be able to get into the next book!really gutted, what a waste of time.i hope others dont have this problem, but where there is one misprint there is usually another!!please check your book out first!

I will own up at the start and say that I love pretty much everything that has ever rolled off of Heather Killough-Walden's keyboard. What can I say? The woman speaks to me and creates worlds that seem tangible, albeit supernatural, reading her work often transports me to a more exciting place where I can escape for an hour or two. Having said that, I approached this book with the same open mind that I do with everything I read. I am delighted to say that she has not let me down! Messenger's Angel centres around Gabriel and Juliette. Gabe is one of the 'favoured four' archangels who chose to come to earth to search out their archesses (mates made for them by 'the old man')rather than stay in heaven without them. They have searched for 2 thousand years without luck however the tide is now turning and archesses are being located at last. The last book Avenger's Angel saw Uriel find his archess and discover the healing powers that they hold (amongst others). This power makes them a target for 'others' though and supernaturals called Adarians are also after these special women however the end that they have in mind for them is not as pleasant as that which the angels have in store! There is also a shady character called Samael whose agenda is definitely not clear but he is the most deliciously dark and mysterious man, I'm still not certain if he falls on the side of good or evil! So, without spoiling too much for you...Gabriel has returned to his adopted home country of Scotland when he is led to Juliette and immediately recognises her as his missing archess. A wonderful ride ensues in which he must convince her that the world in which he lives is real (even the presence of his archangel/Vampire brother!) whilst saving her from an untimely demise at the hand of the Adarians and helping her come to grips with her own developing powers. The relationship between the pair is beautifully crafted and you find yourself looking forward to the scenes where they are together just to get sucked back into the romance. In short I would thoroughly recommend that you read this novel but definitely start with the novella Always Angel, which sets the scene and then Avenger's Angel. Enjoy!
